BID AT BONHAMS FOR VETERAN CAR AND RUN
Friday 29 October 2004 - Entries may have long closed for this years London to Brighton Veteran Car Run but one lucky auction bidder may still have the chance to participate.
On Friday 5 November, just 2 days before the Brighton Run, Bonhams of New Bond Street, London, will be auctioning a 1903 Orient Buckboard 4hp two-seater.
This stunning vehicle was the product of the Waltham Manufacturing Co. of Massachusetts, USA and was first marketed as `The cheapest automobile in the world - everyone should have one.'
One lucky person can have one and will automatically be entered into the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run on Sunday 7 November 2004 - courtesy of the previous owner.
