3. Best Mobile Camera Phone Image - any images of the 2006 LBVCR taken on a camera phone

The top ten images submitted in each category will be short listed and displayed in a special gallery on the LBVCR website.  The best of the rest' will also be displayed on the LBVCR website in the gallery section.

FIRST PRIZE  -  The overall winner will receive a passenger place on a veteran car on the 2007 LBVCR, with two places on the 2007 Bus Tour for their guests.

SHORT LISTED IMAGES -   Each short listed image will receive a boxed 2006 LBVCR Enamelled badge and a LBVCR pen. (30 winners)

The London to Brighton Veteran Car Run is a very visual event and perfect for anyone with an interest in photography, said LBVCR Event Director Roger Etcell.  The 60-mile route from London's Hyde Park to Madeira Driver in Brighton offers plenty of photographic opportunities and is completely free for spectators. We are looking for are images that capture the spirit of the LBVCR, the colourful characters and the wonderful cars they drive.

We also wanted to include a mobile phone category because not everyone has the latest professional photographic equipment, Mr Etcell continued. However most people have a camera phone and the LBVCR is all about giving opportunities to everyone.  The main prize of a passenger ride is highly sought after with passenger rides with entrants not usually available.  The winner of the 2006 LBVCR Photographic Competition will have a unique perspective of the LBVCR on next years Run and I'm sure they will want to take their camera along to capture their day.
