11-Mar-2009 : JOIN THE LBVCR ENTHUSIASTS CLUB
The organisers of the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run are inviting enthusiasts of the world's longest running motoring event to join a new Club. For just £50.00 per year members of the public can show their support and benefit from some special offers including an advance copy of the Event Souvenir Programme, a quarterly newsletter, a special LBVCR lapel badge, discounts on merchandise and the Open Top Bus Tour and much more, whilst knowing that at least 50% of their subscription goes towards the funding of the annual Run. To launch the LBVCR Enthusiasts Club the first 100 new members will also receive a free veteran car passenger ride at the 2009 LBVCR International Concours in London's Regent Street, a free copy of the 2009 LBVCR DVD and a special paddock pass for Hyde Park, Crawley and Brighton Paddocks. Event Director Roger Etcell said: “The annual event today costs a considerable sum of funding to stage and whilst we are continually grateful to the event's many sponsors who, along with the participant's entry fees, cover the majority of the budget required, we are constantly on the search for further funding in order that the event can maintain its current status whilst costs rise around us. What makes the LBVCR different to most other public events is that because it runs on public roads spectator tickets cannot be sold for either the Saturday Concours in Regent Street or on the Sunday 60 mile Run to Brighton. The LBVCR Enthusiasts Club is a great way for an enthusiast to show their support for this very unique event and also take advantage of the benefits that come with membership.” To join the LBVCR Enthusiasts Club download the Membership Application Form here or contact Motion Works on 01327 856 024.
