The Royal Automobile Club's annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run (LBVCR) is the world's longest running motoring event.  It attracts entrants from all over the globe and for the owners of these highly valuable Veteran cars it represents a rare opportunity to take their extraordinary automobiles on the 60-mile run from Hyde Park in central London to the seafront on the Sussex resort of Brighton.

Few events in today's international calendar like the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run can claim such individuality, personality and character as around 500 fine examples of pre 1905 manufacture demonstrate their early engineering ability.

Royalty and personalities from the world of television, stage, music and sport often participate on the annual run which takes place on the first Sunday in each November and this website aims to provide detailed background and current event information for both spectators and participants alike.

Official event souvenirs including the event programme will also be available on line and website visitors will be pleased to note that spectating on the day is absolutely FREE of charge as the official route takes in the suburbs of London via Brixton, Lambeth and Streatham on the A23 and on through Norbury to Croydon and then the A235 to Purley reverting to the A23 to Redhill, Horley, Gatwick and Crawley plus the towns and villages on route to Brighton via Cuckfield and Burgess Hill.

We do hope that you will join us on this year's London to Brighton Veteran Car Run by cheering-on the hundreds of participants in the Run on Sunday 7 November 2010
